The ABC's of Fire Extinguishers
All fire extinguishers have a rating that lets you know what types of fires they will extinguish. We recommend that all households and barns have a fire extinguisher that has an ABC rating. Fire extinguishers with an ABC rating can be used to put out all types of fire. If you are unsure about your fire extinguisher, check the label on the front of the extinguisher to determine its rating.
